Our story
Hi, my name is Sierra and Iβve been baking gluten free, vegan, top 14 allergy goodies since 2017. When I discovered I had multiple food allergies and health conditions, I was discouraged with the lack of accessibility of quality treats, breads, bagels, cookies, cakesβ¦ but I had always been a baker and I loved to experiment, so I set out to make it myself.
What started with biscochitos quickly grew into a full menu that is always expanding and growing! As a single mom with 3 kids with multiple allergies, you can rest assured I am working to create the best quality and safest goods.
The vision
We are currently operating out of the South Valley Economic Development Center incubator commercial kitchen program. Eventually, we want to expand to our own facility with a dedicated gluten free, allergen free kitchen to ensure the best safety. While we have a dedicated gluten free area of the kitchen, itβs not the final stop! You can help us expand by ordering, sharing, or donating to go toward our own space. Around 33 million Americans have food allergies, and food allergies and intolerances are growing. Letβs create a space together in Albuquerque where everyone can feel included to eat, drink, and enjoy!
We believe our baked Goods are only as good as the ingredients we use.
I get it, having a lot of food allergies is a lot to manage and hearing a bakery is doing everything without the gluten, wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts, soy, etc. is kind of unbelievable. There are even times Iβm shocked that I bake what I do without those ingredients! In an effort to ensure as much safety as possible, Iβve included lists of all the ingredients in each product. That being said, I canβt always guarantee other manufacturers have done perfect practices to mitigate cross contamination. If you have a severe food allergy and would like to talk more about specific ingredients, feel free to contact me at any time.
I bake in a shared facility with a dedicated gluten free area complete with a dedicated gluten free prep table, oven, and equipment. My vision going forward is growing this business to eventually have an entire facility that is dedicated gluten free and top 14 allergen free so I can give you the safest treats!
